Phentermine HCL

The most commonly used weight loss drug and the most affordable, Phentermine has been around since 1959.

It is an appetite suppressant that can be used in conjunction with diet changes and an exercise program to lose weight. It comes in 15mg and 30mg dosage capsules and 37.5mg tablets.

Phentermine is normally taken on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning. It can keep you awake so don't take it before going to bed.

Common Side Effects can include Drowsiness, Depression, Nervousness, Irritability, Sense of well-being and Increased blood pressure. Overuse can lead to dependency.

Adipex-P

Adipex is the top selling brand-name Phentermine tablet and is used as an Appetite Suppressant in conjunction with a diet to reduce weight. Available only as 37.5mg dose tablets.

It is taken on an empty stomach one hour before meals and is not recommended prior to going to bed as it can cause sleeplessness.

Dry mouth, sleeplessness, irritability, stomach upset or constipation may occur during the first few days as your body adjusts to the medication.

Xenical

Xenical reduces your bodys ability to absorb fat and is ideal for long term treatment of significant obesity.

The 30% of fat that is not absorbed can cause fatty stools during the settling in period and when fat consumption is high. The intake of certain Vitamins can also be reduced so a well balanced diet rich in fruit and vegetables is required.

120mg Xenical is taken with water at each meal (three times a day).

Meridia

Meridia is used in association with a reduced calorie diet. Effective at reducing excess body weight (obesity) it can become habit forming if used for a longer period of time than prescribed. It comes in 10mg and 15mg Capsules.

Bontril

Bontril is an Appetite Suppressant used in conjunction with a Diet Plan to reduce weight and is normally only taken for 8 - 12 weeks. It comes as 105mg Tablets.

It can become habit forming if used longer than prescribed and is NOT suitable for children.

Side effects, that may go away during treatment, include restlessness, nervousness, difficulty sleeping, or dry mouth.

Didrex

Didrex is also an Appetite Suppressant used along with diet, exercise, and behavior therapy for the short-term management of obesity. It comes as 50 mg Tablets.

Didrex is taken on an empty stomach half an hour before meals. It can cause sleeplessness if taken late in the day. NOT recommended for children or breast feeding mothers.

Possible side effects include restlessness, nervousness, difficulty sleeping, or dry mouth. Do not use Didrex if you are also taking furazolidone, guanadrel, guanethidine, or monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).

Tenuate

Tenuate is also an Appetite Suppressant used along with diet, exercise, and behavior therapy for the short-term management of obesity. It comes as 75mg Tablets.

Tenuate is taken on an empty stomach half an hour to one hour before meals. It can cause sleeplessness if taken late in the day. NOT recommended for children or breast feeding mothers.

Possible side effects include restlessness, nervousness, difficulty sleeping, or dry mouth. Use of this medicine is not recommended if you have a history of heart disease, high blood pressure, hyperthyroidism, glaucoma, atherosclerosis, or brain or spinal cord disorders.

Ionamin

Ionamin is also an Appetite Suppressant which is used along with a Diet Plan in order to reduce weight. It comes as 30mg Capsules.

Ionamin is taken on an empty stomach one hour before meals. It can cause sleeplessness if taken late in the day. NOT recommended for children.

Possible side effects include restlessness, nervousness, difficulty sleeping, or dry mouth. Do not use this medicine if you are also taking guanadrel, guanethidine, furazolidone, or monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
